Spring 2009 Classes
(Starting Tuesday, 20 January!)

  • Physics 4C-001 (30109) Tuesday and Thursday afternoons 1 - 2:50 PM, Friday afternoons 1 - 3:50 PM.

  • Astronomy 10-002 (33035) Monday-Wednesday afternoons 1:30 - 2:45 PM in the Planetarium, room 1902.

  • Astronomy 20-ON1 (31659) Online with no on-campus meetings, facilitated with Blackboard.

This class is FULL. If you are looking to ADD, please look at the Spring 2009 Onramp to Astronomy Online. At the bottom of the page, you'll see a link to an e-form that you can complete. Alternately, send me and email with your name, priority number (if you have it) and a clear subject line "Requesting to Add Astro 20 Online" to be placed on a wait list. If you are registered for the online course and want to read about how it will work, please visit the Spring 2009 Onramp to Astronomy Online! to read about how the class works and see a FAQ list.

IF YOU ARE PRE-REGISTERED for the course, but do not log in by Tuesday, (1/27/09), AND you do not contact me by email, you will be dropped from the course - consider this equivalent to missing the first day(s) of a normal on-campus class. (Chabot College policy requires that pre-registered students who don't show up in a class where others are trying to add must be dropped if they miss either of the first two days.)

  • Astronomy 30-072 (30084) Laboratory Tuesday evenings 6:30 - 9:20 PM

  • Physics 5-001 (31658) ONLINE with no required on-campus lectures or labs. (a quick description of the class is available, too)

Links to last semester's classes not offered in Spring 2009:

  • Physical Science 15-ON1 (Fall 2008  CRN 22838) Online lecture/discussion, with On-campus labs offered flexibly Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.
