IMPORTANT MESSAGE  for New or Interested Students wishing to acquire skills and training for the Electronics and Computer Technology Career Fields:

 

The Electronics program has been placed in a position of a formal study and review to determine how Chabot can best meet the future needs of students who wish to enter and succeed in the career field. This process may take approximately two years to complete.

 

There are currently no courses scheduled for the Electronics and Computer Technology department.

 

During this period of review and study of current and future program dynamics, it would be wise to consider other Chabot offerings that may match your career plans.

Chabot College, in partnership with industry leader, Cisco Systems, offers high-tech training in computer network design, implementation, and support. The Cisco Networking Academy Program prepares students to earn industry-recognized CCNA certification and to enter the technology job market.

The Chabot program goes well beyond certification exam preparation; it provides the strong foundations of theory and hands-on experience necessary for career success. Additional course content in business skills and network technical documentation supplements the Cisco curriculum. Further, the program includes first-hand experience with the routers, switches, and software that form the foundation of the Internet.
