Office Hours: online and by appointmentEmail: lulibarri@chabotcollege.eduPersonal background:I currently teach part-time in addition to my full-time job as an Instructional Designer. Therefore, I understand the demands of going to school in addition to other demands (work, family, etc). I was a student at Chabot College and found my years as a community college student to be very rewarding. After Chabot, I transferred to the University of California, Berkeley and finally to CSU Hayward for my graduate degree. Although college courses can be demanding, the value of an education is well worth the hard-work. I am particularly interested in online teaching as it provides a unique medium of communication and works with the changes in technology to help students to develop the essential skill of composition. I appreciate that online classes help to serve a unique demographic of the student population and aids in the ability of those students to further their academic progress despite busy family or work schedules.
