About this site
"Littoral" is defined loosely as the the edge of the ocean. The littoral zone extends from surfline to perhaps 10 to 30 feet deep. There is no defined cutoff; it seems that the term is a broad, vague descriptor. Sort of like what this site will be, most likely: A loose collection of assorted stuff.
Okay, so it's not a great site name. It means very little, it's somewhat redundant, and it misrepresents (at least to some degree) the area that the site will cover. So, what do you expect for free?
My aim in this site is two-fold: To have a place to share my imagery from diving, and to give non- and new-divers some information about the underwater world. I may throw some other stuff up on occasion, as well; the plan for this site is not well-defined, and will probably evolve over time.
You will find a collection of underwater images, and information on the underwater world from a divers perspective. Some may be scientific, some anecdotal, and some will probably just kind of be.
So, poke around, and I hope you enjoy your visit.
